About Us
Who are Furore Normanum?
Furore Normanum is a collective of live roleplayers based in the North East of England (including the likes of Saxon Violence, Ancestor Leathercrafts, Sanctuary Leathers and Tall Tales & Short Stories) who are involved in playing and running various games around the country from as close at Chopwell Forest and Newcastle Keep to as far away as Devon.
Our aim is to promote LARP in the area and perhaps even run some games eventually!
What is LARP?
LARP (Live Action Role Play) or LRP is a form of role-playing game where the participants act out the actions of their character - kind of like a cross between re-enactment and improvised theatre.
